GAME-BASED LEARNING

One of the main tasks we encounter as teachers is to design our sessions, and for this, Lesson Plans are the most effective tool we have.

Below is an example of a Lesson Plan dedicated to game-based learning, which, be careful, is not the same as simply using games. Thus, while games are voluntary and are only for fun, game-based learning has learning as its main objective, and is used in the classroom in a premeditated way and with an educational purpose.

It should not be forgotten that these games are a very effective tool to be used in the classroom, as students are involved in the dynamics of the game and are not fully aware that they are practising theoretical content (vocabulary, grammar, etc.).

Thus, it has been decided to adapt "The Alphabet Game" to the classroom to work with students on content related to the subject of foreign language: English focused on Christmas vocabulary 🎄, because... Who said that students can't learn by playing?
