INNOVATION IN EDUCATION

 

Have you ever thought about how useful videos are in the classroom? If the answer is yes, have you given yourself the opportunity to create one to use with your students or have you suggested that they do it themselves?

 

Flipgrid is a very easy tool to use when it comes to securely sharing videos among a group of students, as it allows you to make the videos that are shared in the group visible only to the group members; but you can also make them public if you wish.

 

ClipChamp is another very easy tool to use in the classroom when it comes to creating videos. It is very intuitive to use, and allows you to create videos from images or other videos to which you can add voice, music, transitions, etc.

 

In this activity, we have researched about different innovative schools and with the information we have collected, we have created different videos. In them, we have explained the main ideas or values of these schools and uploaded them to Flipgrid.

 

If you ever thought that there was only one right way to teach, or that only traditional education teaches, let me tell you that you are very wrong!
